Cameron Diaz has starred in a lot of movies. Being the big star that she is now, you might be surprised to find out that she started as a model for the Elite Modeling Agency before becoming an actress. She got her break in 1994 when she starred opposite Jim Carrey in the comedy “The Mask”. She then practiced her acting skills in low-budget movies for the next couple of years like “The Last Supper”, “She’s The One”, “Feeling Minnesota”, “Head Above Water” and “Keys To Tulsa”.

Feeling more confident about her acting, she moved back into the mainstream when she got projects such as “My Bestfriend’s Wedding”, “There’s Something About Mary”, “Any Given Sunday”, “Charlie’s Angels” and “Shrek”. Upcoming movies include “The Box”, a movie about an unhappy couple who receive a small wooden box on their doorstep. At the push of a button, the box brings its bearer instant wealth but also instantly kills someone the bearer doesn’t know. Different things will happen depending on which buttons are pressed. Another romantic comedy (“What Happens in Vegas…”) opposite Ashton Kutcher is also in the works for this beautiful actress. The movie is about two people who discover they’ve gotten married after a night of debauchery. One of them won a huge jackpot after playing the other’s quarter. The two then tries to undermine each other and get their hands on the money, falling in love along the way. A fourth installment in the “Shrek” animated movie series would also be released in 2010. Cameron has her hands full right now, and with numerous magazine shoots and talk show appearances, there’s no sign that she’s about to stop. Truly dedicated to her craft, Cameron is one of the most successful and accomplished movie stars of today.
